Located in Yuhuan, Taizhou, a traditional residence built in the 1990s, the renovation method breaks the surrounding definition of extensive and elaborate architecture, transforming it into two pairs of binoculars facing the sea in a curving movement, highlighting its magnificent splendour in the urban landscape.

设计概念结合城市环境，以便在原有的建筑物以及房屋建筑设计的经验之中谋求平衡，最大限度地保证建筑享有面向湾沿岸的海景。

The design concept incorporates the urban environment in order to strike a balance between the existing building and the architectural experience of the house, ensuring maximum sea views towards the bay.

随着向上的动势和流体的运动，该建筑让体块之间彼此共生，从而强化了在室内和室外区域之间隐私关系。该建筑体现了对地域的尊重，并且满足土地形态和城市环境的需求，充分利用其形状特点，在这片土地上生根，而这些特征正是通过建筑作品所自然探索出来的，自然通过两个透镜向建筑致敬，海景让建筑达到了最大程度的辉煌。

With upward motion and fluid movement, the building allows the volumes to symbiosis with each other, thereby reinforcing the privacy relationship between the indoor and outdoor areas. The building embodies respect for the region and meets the needs of the land form and urban environment, taking full advantage of its shape characteristics and taking root in the land, which are naturally explored through the architectural work, nature pays tribute to the building through two lenses, and the sea view allows the building to achieve its maximum glory.
